This project began with the idea of remixing our first CD Spoke. We had always enjoyed the songs recorded for that CD, but we were not fully satisfied with the final sound and mixes. As a result, after starting this new project in 2005, we decided to dig out some old songs that we had never gotten around to recording and include them with our remixing efforts.
What do you do when your drummer quits? Well, you divide a few six-packs three ways and then you finish the project as three guitar players, of course. Douglas and Patrick put together drum tracks on the computer and we carried forth as a computer-enhanced trio.
The resulting project is a mish-mash of ideas with some ‘new-old stock’ songs, some remixed Spoke tracks, and two new songs. We hope you enjoy this trip through our past with a splash of the present!
